Karen Spahn

Karen Spahn has been a nonprofit executive for over 25 years in Milwaukee. She has worked for the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Milwaukee Public Museum. In her capacity as the head of fundraising for both museums, she has raised well over $75 million. At the GMF, she worked in both the program and development areas and led the grant making in arts and culture. Additionally, she helped create the Milwaukee Arts Board, developed the public art program for Milwaukee County, and staffed CAMPAC (Milwaukee County Cultural, Artistic, and Musical Programming Advisory Councul) for several years.

Karen has managed and supervised teams of various sizes, and has been an important part of the management teams for the organizations for which she has worked.
