SUMMARY:Nonprofit Leaders Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Running a nonprofit organization can be both deeply rewarding and full of challenges\, and recent events have made the challenges even more pronounced for many. Join this retreat to step away from the day-to-day urgencies to rejuvenate\, reflect and connect meaningfully with other local leaders. \nThe retreat will take place within the main building featuring abundant natural light and there will be opportunities to explore the beautiful 135 acres of outdoor grounds\, including a restored natural prairie\, woodlands and lake. In addition to nature-based activities\, there will be chances to enjoy the day through art and calming wellness activities. \nLunch will be provided\, featuring fresh and locally grown ingredients prepared by the chefs at Holy Wisdom. Refreshments will also be provided throughout the day. \nThe retreat will be facilitated by Goodman Nonprofit Center staff and Abha Thakkar of Mosaic LLC. The facilitators will guide those on the retreat through relationship building opportunities and group conversations about issues that are important to retreat attendees. \nSince space is limited\, we ask organizations to limit attendance to 2 people per organization.
